We know that transportation is tricky with our work schedules. That’s why we offer a remote option for tutoring. This option easily allows your student to log on from their school issued Chromebooks or another device and receive one on one attention from one of our instructors.
Some may ask about the effectiveness of remote tutoring due to challenges with distance learning. However, with distance learning, most of the work was expected that your child completes it independently such as videos and assignments without attention from a teacher. Whereas with remote tutoring, your child is meeting one on one with an instructor that is well versed in the educational standards and content in the Mankato school district. This allows them the opportunity to ask questions and have an educator’s full attention to focus on your child only.
For Individual Tutoring and Homework Help Hours, we work with students and parents to find a consistent time for every week. You will be notified if there are any changes with scheduling.
For punch card sessions, please let us know at least two days in advance.
We understand that life happens! Whether you or your child are sick or you are going on vacation, we allow for you to reschedule! Rescheduling must happen within a week of the missed session time. Please let us know if you cannot attend a session 24 hours in advance. Group sessions, camps or programs, or punch card sessions are not available for rescheduling.
Children who are sick WILL NOT be allowed to participate in Math and Me if they have a fever, cough, chills, runny nose, etc. If the child has been exposed to COVID-19 via a family member/friend/etc., we ask that the child refrains from participation or participates via remotely. This is for the safety and protection of your child as well as the other students. This policy may change as we continue to monitor COVID-19.

Yes, though similar, the dates and offers may slightly vary from the regular school year. Please refer to this page for our summer program: mankatomathandme.com/summer
We notice that hour sessions are sometimes not long enough to cover the content at a rapid pace for our older students. (Especially for advanced math students or students that are challenged with the material) Given this, we are piloting a 2 hour session for students in 7th grade or older. Please contact us if you would like to partake!

No, Mankato Math and Me has no membership program. We strongly recommend students finish the entire quarter originally registered in. Finishing the program allows your child to gain all the skills and cover the material in the full, comprehensive program. Certain tuition benefits may require your student to attend a full enrollment period.
We have an automatic payment system, so you don’t have to worry each month! Payment is due at the 3rd of every month.
We currently do not accept ConnectingKids at this time. However, we are working on providing other scholarships and assistance in the future.
